KPI (Key Performance Indicator) is different for different businesses. For example, if you are an e-commerce company your KPI should be Conversions, Cost per conversion, Revenue, etc. For B2B SAAS-based product companies, Unique Open rates, CTR are the most important KPIs.
In general for Email Marketing: CTR, Open rates, Cost/Conversion, Clicks, Bounce rate, Unsubscribe rate are the main KPIs.
For SEO/SEM: Users, New users, Goal Conversions, CTR, Bounce rate, Avg. sessions etc are main KPIs
